New Video Glasses Do 3D and Head Tracking

The Wrap 1200VR glasses are the newest in a series of virtual reality and video eye wear designed for personal media viewing and immersive gaming. The 1200VR’s feature two WVGA LCD displays that can show the user a 1280×720 image and give the experience of viewing a 75” screen from about 10 feet away. The system supports a wide variety of devices and will display 2D for all kinds of video and offers 3D support for select game titles. Additionally, the 1200VR’s allow the user to enable the on-board head tracker as they play games, shifting the in-game perspective to match as the user’s head moves left to right or up and down. The system will give you about 3 hours of head-tracking filled immersive gaming on 2 rechargeable AA batteries or up to 6 hours with the purchase of an optional battery pack.
